PECC1 has been awarded for the consulting service package on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency" (4E) of the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ)

In early December 2021, PECC1 has been announced to be a winner of the public tender package: “Providing Technical consulting Services relating to Renewable Energy” within the project framework: "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency" (4E) by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and the Group of German Development Cooperation (GIZ).

This is a package of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) to provide and support technical advices, assisting in strengthening competence of the MOIT and other important stakeholders of the energy industry through a series of workshops, training courses, research, presentations, etc... In addition, PECC1 will provide technical and professional supports for other specific activities that may arise during the course of the work and implementation of activities.

The project will require 06 key experts to take up positions with expertise in various fields of engineering, energy, environment, policy, finance, capacity strengthening, legal and related fields.

The estimated implementation time for the package is a 1-year duration. Implementation locations (expected to be) will be Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and other provinces in Vietnam.

That is the reason PECC1 has been selected by GIZ as the local consultant for this package with the aim of working with GIZ to support MOIT in completing legal framework on electricity and renewable energy in order to develop and operate Vietnam's power system properly, sustainably, stably, efficiently, both meeting the national electricity demand, and also keeping up with international trends in clean and advanced technology, and also being able to fulfill the government's commitment on climate change.

The fact that the consultant team of PECC1 selected by GIZ in this specific package and multi-disciplinary work has proved its high professional capacity, combined knowledge and expertise, and possessing a lot of experience in the electricity industry of Vietnam and understanding of international trends of PECC1 engineers.
