An Khanh Thermal Power Plant 1, supervised by PECC1, is entering completion stage for erection of main components, main equipment such as boiler number 1, turbine – generator number 1, transformer, switchyard… Auxiliary components for the plant such as water treatment area, DO oil station, circulation cooling water system are also being speeded up the erection schedule. In order to insure the schedule, Contractor has enhanced workforce, machine to construct three shifts for the significant components. Acceptance, calibration and trial testing of equipment and system are also conducted to ensure the planned schedule’s milestones.

Basing on Contractor’s commitment, unit 1 will be handed over to Investor to operate the commercial generation in early 4 th quarter 2014.
An Khanh Thermal Power Plant 1 with total capacity of 115MW, include two units, total investment is 215 million USD. It is expected that the plant will annually contribute to the national grid with approximately 650 million kWh with turnover of power sales over 800 billion Vnd /year.
